Contemporary  Fine Artist

Madison does all of her Paintings in Series: Nudes, Abstracts, Figurative, Still Life and her most recent Art Museum Exhibits Series of Miniature Paintings of the Masters, within small format paintings, including People viewing art in Museum Interiors. With all her paintings she includes her Valid Certificate of Appraisal and Authenticity.

With her Art Museum Collection Series she executes a more Representational style with a more highly detailed impression of the external world.

Freedom, this Series gives Madison total freedom. Freedom to visit with the masters, read about their lives on a daily basis, read about their thoughts and what made them tick, why they painted what they painted. Freedom to paint her impressions of the Masters. Freedom to paint in so many colors. Palettes of colors in every hue and depth and pastel, all of which were so exhilarating to mix.  Freedom to paint every and any subject from Renoir to Picasso. Freedom with style. Detail is her style, detail and more detail. She seems to always go back to the more realistic. Even the Masters that painted Impressionism that she includes in her Exhibits have that fine detail somewhere.

Madison also indulges in painting coloristic environs of abstracts, employing expressive playfulness and free spirit. She invokes the primal idea of the natural beauty of colors mixing and flowing and adjusting to their own elements to create the designs....intermingling in a sense. Abstracts are her release after doing a long series of detailed work.
A place where she plays with color and texture and gets paint all over her bare feet. A fun, free place to be....

She is a member of the  a private gallery in London, Evelyn Dunns Gallery, Madison Avenue Art Gallery and many other venues.

After many years of running a large studio with a high stress level she has an enthusiasm for many years of lost painting time and  is now happy painting in her peaceful lakeside
home studio in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania with her artist husband and six cats and all the nature an artist could wish for.
